Hometown

(18 months – 2.5 years)

Temple Etz Chaim ECE Center offers a licensed Preschool Toddler Program for those children ages 18 months- 2.5 years. In these classrooms for our youngest preschoolers, the toddlers learn by doing. Their curriculum is designed to introduce children to a variety of learning concepts in a fun and exciting way. Their program is very "hands-on" since toddlers discover their world on a physical level, so it is expected that they will prefer walking, climbing, carrying objects, dumping and dropping objects over sitting, picking up toys, or playing only in a designated space.

The toddler classroom includes materials for children to engage in imaginative play, appropriate art experiences for creative exploration, various skills, as well as building blocks, music, and books.  Their classroom is stimulating and inviting.

Our toddler classrooms have a maximum of 12 children in each classroom and our low child: teacher ratios (4:1) ensure a safe and healthy environment for our toddlers.
