Dear Members of Temple Etz Chaim,

I am sending this short note to tell you about my enthusiasm for the soon to be new Rabbi of Temple Etz Chaim, Rabbi Ari Averbach.

Rabbi Averbach has already shown himself to be an excellent Rabbi in his present community. He is well liked by virtually everyone and is extremely bright and capable. We are very fortunate that he has chosen our Temple to be his new home.

I look forward to serving as Rabbi until next summer when Rabbi Averbach will arrive. At that time, I will transition to Rabbi Emeritus and enjoy a new connection to our Temple. I hope that when Rabbi Averbach begins you will join me in offering him and his family a warm and enthusiastic welcome.

May we go from strength to strength into a wonderful future.

Rabbi Richard SpiegelĀ
