Hometown

“ICare.” “We Care” is what Caring Connections is all about. We are a compassionate team of TEC volunteers supporting the needs of our congregants. We seek to provide hope and support during times of illness and sorrow as well as celebrations in times of joy.
You are not alone, and your Temple Etz Chaim family is here to support you. We all seek to have a sense of belonging, to act compassionately, and to provide care for others in need. With so many challenges in our everyday lives, we hope that together we can create fulfillment in your life, and we will do our best within our means to accommodate the need for support. A resource guide in the Temple office is available for your review to help with any next steps.
Join us at the Community Outreach-Caring Connection programs planned throughout the year, these events promote connection, well-being and enrichment for our personal and religious lives. Look for our logo in upcoming flyers, news bulletins, and on the website. Our “I Care” pin is a symbol of joining our hands to yours. We look forward to a meaningful year ahead.

Your voice is important! Contact us if you know of a Temple member in need of our support or Mazel Tov. If you like to volunteer your time, donate gift cards or money for those in need, or even sponsor one of our upcoming events, email us at: outreach@templeetzchaim.org.

Ten Ten Program with Mt. Sinai: TEC is working in partnership with Mt. Sinai Memorial Park and Mortuaries to help you reserve a plot in advance. Don't miss out on these ongoing events:

Support Groups: TEC proudly offers support groups open to the community. Our Bereavement Support Group will meet every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month. The support group is currently on hiatus for the summer. Regular meetings will resume in September. Al-Anon meets every Wednesday at TEC, 7:00-8:15PM.

Refuah Shelamah Requests - Can't make it to shul for a friend or loved one in need of a prayer for healing? Send in any name you would like read at services (Shabbat, minyan, or other) and a dedicated Temple congregant will stand and read the name. Just email your request to office@templeetzchaim.org with the details of the individual in need of healing. It is that easy and simple! Because no one should be without a voice.
