Membership Invitation Letter

Hello, I’d like to introduce myself,  I am Karen Levine,  your current Vice President of Membership at Temple Etz Chaim.

I am married to Larry Levine, who also serves on the Board of Directors. We have three children, Daniel 28, Derick 26 and Lily 15 and have been Temple Members for 12 years.  Our family moved to Simi Valley from Los Angeles in 2002 and after commuting to Los Angeles for two years to our previous Temple, we found Temple Etz Chaim right in our backyard.  As a family we have made wonderful, life long friends here at Temple Etz Chaim.  Our daughter Lily started Preschool at TEC at the age of three years old, was a Bat Mitzvah in 2014 and has continued her jewish learning by attending confirmation and aiding at our religious school and youth programs.

I have volunteered on several of our committees, taking on small roles and now feel  is the time for me to step up and take a stronger role in my family's religious journey and my commitment to our Temple and its members.  I volunteer with a tremendous group of individuals and staff who visualize and implement up to date programing at the same time maintain tradition for our existing and new members alike.

If you would kindly take a few moments to browse through our brochure you will get a glimpse into the TEC community and the many programs available to you and your family to architect the best regiment that fits your family's lifestyle.  Please take the time to attend a Friday night and/or a Saturday morning Shabbat Service to meet the clergy and your new temple family.  We warmly welcome you and your family.

Tours of our Facility and Religious School are always available.

I am looking forward to getting to know you better and feel free to contact me with any questions or even if you just want to connect.  I will always do my best to guide you.

Yours Faithfully,

Karen Levine
